In order to proceed with vacation planning I require a non-refundable planning/ consulting fee. Fees start at $100, but may increase depending on the amount of research and the intricacy of the trip. This fee ensures that clients receive personalized guidance in planning and booking travel, and a professional advocate before, during and after their trip.
By initiating this Plan to Book fee we are able to provide the high level of customer service that travelers need when planning a unique adventure.
My expertise, industry training, supplier relationships and many years in the business allow me to go above and beyond expectations. In the past travel agents were able to provide non fee services, however over the years with cuts to commissions and changes in the industry fees are now standard.
Terms and Conditions
Please note that Strong on Travel or Dale Strong are not the source or supplier of the requested travel services; I act solely as an agent for the actual supplier’s services provided.
The passenger is advised that the suppliers whose names appear in the information provided by Strong on Travel are responsible for providing the travel services purchased. The passenger consents to and requests the use of those suppliers and agrees not to hold Strong on Travel or Dale Strong responsible should any of these suppliers 1. Fail to provide the travel services purchased; 2. Fail to comply with applicable law; 3. Engage in any negligent act or omission that causes the passenger any sort of injury, damage, delay or inconvenience; or 4. Financial default or bankruptcy.
It is the client’s responsibility to confirm that all details of travel are correct- full names, birthdates, passport information, etc.
Before processing any payment the client will be sent a copy of documents to review and confirm that all details are correct. Once confirmed by the client it is the client’s responsibility for any errors.
If the client is traveling to an area with vaccine or health restrictions or requirements, it is the client’s responsibility to adhere to these restrictions or requirements and to obtain proper documentation.
Travel insurance is strongly recommended, and sometimes required, in order to cover certain risks inherent in travel, such as supplier bankruptcy and the inability to travel due to a medical or personal emergency. Strong on Travel is happy to quote the client on travel insurance in conjunction with other travel arrangements.
